Lauren Cregor Devine
Lauren’s music can be heard in theaters, on screen and on iTunes.
She is the composer and musical director for the acclaimed off-Broadway company, Waterwell, which has produced ten original pieces in New York and has been dubbed “Brilliant, original and inspired” by the Times. She is a member of BMI’s Advanced Musical Theater Workshop, which has brought to life such shows as Avenue Q and Next To Normal. Her film music has screened across the globe, including the BFM International Festival in London, and her a cappella score for the short film “Overdue” can be found at Ricki Lake’s TheBusinessOfBeingBorn.com. She has composed for countless commercials, from a singing bleach bottle to the poignant Wounded Warriors Project. As a singer/songwriter, Lauren has released two albums with her band and is currently working on her third. She has also had the honor of composing for New York’s SYREN Modern Dance as well as the Professional Performing Arts High School (PPAS). She received her B.A. from Indiana University, a post-graduate degree from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and her M.A. in Composition from New York University. She is a recipient of Meet The Composer grants for her work with aspiring high school composers and songwriters.
